Thanking God Everyday

What are you thankful for?

12/29/2010 – I am thankful that God is one of new beginnings. As this year comes to a close, a new one full of potential is open to us.

12/28/2010 – I am thankful for the opportunity to spend time with extended family from out of town.

12/27/2010 – I am thankful for the chance to rest and enjoy quiet time.

12/26/2010 – I have been so busy, but I am truly thankful for all the gifts, not the ones that come in packages, but the ones that came in the smiles, the voices, and the hugs of loved ones and in the memories of those who have passed on. I am also thankful for all those that were present in spirit and touch my life in so many ways. God bless you all.

12/22/2010 – I am thankful for medicine that relieves pain so that I may rest easier.

12/21/2010 – I am thankful for the fellowship of neighbors.

12/20/2010 – I am thankful for the joy on my son’s face when he “discovered” the guitar that we both looked for. He wants to learn to play. He wants to learn to play.

12/19/2010 – When I asked my son today what I might be able to get him as a gift, he told me that he could think of nothing because I had already given him so much and done so much for him. I am thankful that my son appreciates me.

12/18/2010 – I attended a college graduation today. I am thankful that all those dedicated students put forth so much effort to reach graduation. I was proud of them all.

12/17/2010 – I am thankful for the talent and creativity that God provided to me in creating a new reporting template at work. I couldn’t have done it without God.

12/16/2010 – I am thankful for the warm meal that awaited me when I arrived home.

12/15/2010 – I am exhausted. I am thankful for a warm bed that is waiting for me.

12/14/2010 – I am thankful for all the beauty that surrounds me. I find beauty in things, in music, in words, in pictures, and most importantly, in YOU.

12/13/2010 – I am thankful for a warm home and warm hearts of my loved ones on such a cold and snowy night.

12/12/2010 – I am thankful that I had the opportunity to help a gentleman celebrate, with his family, his 95th birthday. God has blessed him with a long and enduring life, and a loving family to bring gladness to his days.

12/11/2010 – I am thankful for that first sip of hot, freshly brewed coffee before I go to work on a Saturday morning — it was heavenly.

12/10/2010 – I am thankful to have someone who loves me enough to give me loving criticism with the objective to allow me to become a better “me.”

12/09/2010 – I am thankful for my job, although it can be overwhelming. I pray for those out of work and seeking employment. I also pray that those who are employed do their very level best to prove that they deserve to be employed.

12/08/2010 – I am thankful for a good sense of humor and the ability to laugh at myself.

12/07/2010 – I am thankful for all the things that I don’t have and wouldn’t want anyway.

12/06/2010 – I am thankful that God looks into ones heart and determines motivation, passion, effort and desire not just the quality of the outcome but the sincerity in its doing.

12/05/2010 – I am thankful for the lines on the road which remind me that my life needs signs and lines to guide me on my journey.

12/04/2010 – I am thankful for the patient and sympathetic ear that can soothe problems by just listening, so that we know that we are heard.

12/03/2010 – I am thankful for the end of the week so that I can spend a weekend with my family.

12/02/2010 – I am thankful for the natural talent that God has given each of us. I was blessed today to hear the song lyrics of an aspiring song writer. They touched my soul. The words were simple, yet created a flood of complicated feelings and emotions. I thought the lyricist did a great job in capturing so much pain, despair, love and appreciation all in one song.

12/01/2010 – I am thankful for the calling of medicine and healing. I had a medical appointment today with a wonderful medical practitioner. She was easy to talk to and inspired me to trust her. I am thankful that there are people like her in the field of medicine.

11/30/2010 – I am thankful for the amazing education my teachers afforded me that prompted my thirst for reading and learning.

11/29/2010 – I am thankful for a wonderful welcome I received when I arrived home from work tonight.
